Hey guys, I was checking out the maintenance thread and saw a post about changing the cabin air filter out often... I went into the garage and checked mine out. Car is 3 years old with 9 000 miles and this is what my filter looked like. If you live in a city with a lot of road work or a dusty area, check out your filters prematurely to the service interval. It was grey with dirt and filled with pollen.

New gm premium carpets! Nice upgrade over the originals that were cheap and misplaced when compared to the rest of the interior. I know some people say ``oh camaro, cheapy, plastic interior`` but I think it's nice for the price point.

Fellow members, I had put the car for sale because I wanted to order a 2017 Z06 but at this point in my life, home renovations and wanting to have children (I'm 28) I decided to keep my car (its paid for) and keep working on it instead of spending another $65K...
I'll supercharge my SS for $7K!
Just ordered some diode dynamic fog light bulbs and will be buying Hex Vents as well.
Then off to ECS for a supercharger!
I'm happy to stay on the camaro5 forum with the coolest car people around

Also have you thought about doing the gm vent?

Here is mine on my AGM

NIB Hex Vents purchased from forum member Sappy. Great deal! Sent the vents to be painted professionally because they are not matte black but more of a semi gloss black and it was not a great match with the stripes on my hood.

Here they are freshly painted. I will be installing them in my garage weekend of July 22nd!

Hey fellow members, I'm starting to put together the supporting mods for my supercharger..
ATI balancer, ZL1 pump/ADM module, ID850 injectors and was wondering if leaning towards the ECS Novi kit was the way to go? It seems to be great bang for buck performance, what do you guys think?

How do you plan on using the car? I have the ECS kit and am happy with it. Made 623rwhp, with headers and stock cam. I like it, it's very driveable (even with 4.10 gears). My only complaint is that the blow off valve is a little loud and the blower whine is a little quiet...but that's just me.

Looking good!

Love those floor mats btw. Have you thought about re-dying the seat stiching to red to match the carpet red stitching?

I'm always yo-yoing back 'n forth, whether to re-dye Sledge's stitching to all red, or leave it the stock, pedestrian white.

I guess it's kind of like having dive into slightly cold water. Same thing as chopping up your hood. You have to take a deep breath, dive in, and not look back, and embrace what lies ahead with open arms lol.

The hood vents and red stitching are very cold water to me, may have to use The Force.
