I thought I was the minority here (using it as DD), but I guess there are a lot more out there who are driving it daily than I thought.

As I was telling my Corvette friends, these are not made with Chocolate - It won't melt in the rain.

Lol!!! No, I just said that to be silly

If I could afford $52m for a car I probably wouldn't be wasting my time on an internet forum. I'd be on a yacht in the Caribbean somewhere sipping top shelf cognac and enjoying the company of beautiful women.

At first, I thought you were joking, but you never know who you are chatting with online. You may be Jay Leno or Jong-un Kim.

Is it raining or snowing?
Am I going to Home Depot, or some place where I need to haul even a little?
Am I driving to my dad's house down the dirt road?
Am I going to a place where I will be unable to find isolated parking?

If the answer to all of these questions is no, I drive the car. Otherwise, I take the truck.

This really works out to being a near daily driver in the summer, and occasional drive in the winter.

When I get one it will be my DD until winter hits, then I'll take out the 4Runner.

I might consider buying the turbo 4 cylinder as a driver. Depends on the gas mileage they claim. I'd load it with every possible option but keep the 4 cylinder. Reason being I have a race car and the 4 cylinder would keep me out of trouble. It would simply be a nice driver but I'd have to sit in one first. I'm not all that impressed with the inside comfort and visibilty of the gen 5.

I believe vtirocz was referring more to not getting the engine hot enough for long enough. very short trips are tough on engines

3 season DD here. Will either buy an AWD car or another RWD vehicle as the new winter beater. I hate FWD, with a passion lol.

This poll is flawed and needs more options. Currently I run a V6 Camaro (Summer & Winter tires - 2 sets of wheels) 365 days a year, but when it's nice out with no salt/snow, I daily drive my V8 'Vert (Summer only tires).

I would do exactly the same with a 6th Gen.
