Turbo Header Question

I have two holes/ports in the Left turbo manifold.. Both were not used.. I am smelling fumes when I really get in to boost, and I believe I hear a leak. Also My car idle sounds different since I moved to Cali from VA.

1q Will I need to retune because of the move? 93 octane vs 91..
2q What is the second port for in my manifold?
3q Anyone know what the weird sound from my car at Idle? posting videos and photos..

I'd suggest adding an octane booster like Torco for the difference in octance. A retune probably isn't required but it would help the car run better.

I'm going to go on a limb and say one port is for an o2 sensor and another is for wideband.

And the ticking sounds like a lifter or something else in the top end

Edit: I don't have any FI so what I say could be wrong. Somebody far more knowledgeable than I have will comment.

Tune should be checked, and it would make sense to have it adjusted if that's the fuel you're stuck with using.

And light ticking noises like that are indicative of an exhaust leak pre-turbocharger.

Get a piece of tubing and use it to your ear like a stethoscope to try and trace where it's coming from if there are no visible signs of a leak. Problem with wrap, is it can hide the signs and wrap does encourage stainless etc to crack and fracture.

Get tune checked before getting on it. I would say 99% chance you need the tune dialed down a bit because of the 91 octane. West coast gas really is junk.

look into torco accelerator. add a can or two every time you fill up to bring octane level up. still recommend dyno to check tune

exhaust leaks are not that hard to find look at all connections for burnt exhaust wrap or traces of black exhaust soot

Yes, one hole for the Narrow band, and one hole for the wide band. I hear a lifter ticking but its just an exhaust leak. You can also use a broomstick handle, or long screwdriver to listen for the leak like a stethascope, just like stevieturbo said, if you dont have any tubing. Maybe another video with some light throttle changes to hear better would be helpful.
