Bass Fishermen!!!

So my GF surprised me with a new rod and reel today for my trip to amistad next month. The reel is an Abu Garcia revo STX and the rod is a Falcon Bucoo micro. Y'all think this will be an ok set up?

Hunting is first priority. But, I do love to drop a line in the water as well that combo sounds good to me. Personally I've used curado reels and haven't found anything I like better. But, your rig will be just fine for what you're doing. Go catch some fish and make sure to bring us some pictures of what you catch.

Got this one at the Pit on the James River near I-95 in Va. Length citation, but only 7lbs, 1 lb shy. Had to get him mounted anyway.

I almost broke the state walleye record. Record is 16.2 lbs 33in. Mine was 32.5 in and 15.9 lbs . I got her mounted though. I will throw up a pic when I get home.

I got it when I was 13 lol. It was at the Maumee River during the Walleye run. I can't imagine what all the other guys thought when they saw this 13yo kid pulling in a near state record. I'm sure it was quite a sight lol.
