Sometimes it may be a rogue employee that has access to the info. I have been lucky with as many internet purchases I've made that I have not had an issue like this. I look at my accounts at least once a week to keep an eye out for anything like this.

With everything being more tech these days I see it happening more and more. Think about it, your cell is where you are doing more of your online stuff. Heck, half of us here are replying via cell.

That is happened to me also in February this year.
I have also a credit card that I use only for online orders. And I have ordered also car parts from 4 merchants. Thanks God has Visa refunded me all the money. But what me really annoys is that I don't now who the impostor is.

Most of the time, stuff like this is just some dude typing in random numbers until he hits one that works. The first 8 digits on a debit/credit card is the same for the whole bank. All you have to do is type in random numbers for the last 8 and odds are you will hit one on the first few tries that works.

You'd also have to know the name and billing address on the card as well as the expiry date and and the CVD number on the back. You could type for 1000 years and not stumble on the right combo.

Sorry but it's happened enough times to us to know you actually don't need any of that to make a one time purchase online, just make up phony numbers. Just ship it next day or 2 day air and you'll have the order before it gets caught.
