missing the point..
i want to do this cuz i have not seen it done yet, i like for my car to be different just like most of you guys on here.
I'm making the looks all about law enforcement with the push bumper and interior lights,
i want to pop my hood and people ,(well thats different from the rest) anyway i talked to my boy over here at a plastic molding place, he said he could make it work, cross my fingers.

It buys the Whipple and does what it's told. It conforms to the other engine bays. It sells the Vararam and rejoins the hive.

To each his own.....but the Vararam in my opinion looks terrible on a 5th gen.

It also doesn't perform that well, hood latch cable relocation, etc.

With so many better intake options out there, sell it and go with a supercharger.

Nitrous is not the best option for street cars anymore these days and things can go boom more easily if your not careful.

Hmmmm. Plenty of people would tell you different on the performance and not sure what Vararam you've installed but I didn't relocate my hood latch or anything else for that matter when I put mine in.

All that being said, agree it probably doesn't have the surface area necessary to flow enough for a Whipple. If I was home, I would check it. Anyone on here willing to do some measurements of a known Whipple air filter setup and the Vararam for comparison sake?

I'm guessing they don't want to suck the air filter through the blower just to test it.

the vararam is a better intake then the other ones. I got 20 more hp after I switched from the FAIR intake I had.
