Seats!!!

No...I don't have pictures of the seats...but autoblog just posted pictures of one of the first GT-Rs in the States...that they've seen, at least...anyway, no I'm not pledging my allegience to the GT-R...I will forever be devoted to the Camaro...BUT I wanted to post pictures of the GT-R's front and back seats...

I don't know about anyone else...but I REEEEEEALLY like the rear seat setup and I personlly hope for something close to this in the Camaro. The speakers in the middle...well, I don't see that happening...*I would personally like it...I love my music* I really like the look of the sport seats...substantial side bolstering going on. I KNOW that we want supportive seats...and I also know that we aren't all the same size...what are some of your thoughts on optional seats from the factory? Just your opinions as I know that expressing our desires for certain things now just won't do us any good :P But I, for one, want extremely supportive seats...something that keeps you planted when you're carving up the roads

That is a pretty nice interior, though those speakers in the back seat might explain why the car is so darn heavy. Those things are huge. The seats look nice. The material in the middle looks pretty grippy. Cool.

Dyno tests on the Japanese models have shown it's putting nearly as much power to all 4 wheels as Nissan is claiming it makes at the crank.

They under-rated it.

...riiiiight...which means you're obviously referring to leg room and the question of whether or not the rear seat is even able to function in that capacity...but if you'll recall the back seats in the 4th Gen...were they any better? From that angle, we can't really tell rear leg room, but I'm gonna go out on a big limb and say...NO. So, basically, what I was going for, was simply to say that it's a nice back seat and I hope for something similar (kind of late in the game at this point...but still). One thing I noticed was that the buckets in the back...are shallow...as opposed to the 4th Gen which has deeeep buckets...SO, even if you could fit back there your knees would be in your mouth. Anyway, they just look nice...

I have to say I like those back seats. functionality is questionable, like omega said those bucket seats are shallow, looking at the back restst they are very narrow to. but when you buy a car like the Camaro, GT-R I really dont think your too worried about the people in the back seats being comfortable. Ive got 2 little ones. and Im sure the GT-R/Camaro's seats seats would fit an child-teen comfortably. you dont buy sports cars like these to cruse the strip with 3 of your friends.

Aside from the front design not really flowing with the rear of the vehicle...I absolutely LOVE the GT-R.
