It definitely won't slip, even with just the weight of the tensioner resting on the belt it isn't slipping. I have to make sure the belts are 100% aligned right now, might have to shim the plate just a little bit. Should be done with the system this weekend, then I start to tune it for the new pulley. Before I was spinning the impeller at 51,254 RPM's with the 2.95" pulley, now I will spin it 52,972 with the 7/3.33 combo. Those are at 7,000 engine RPM's, at 7400 RPM it will be spinning at 56,000 RPM's. That is going to flow a lot of air.

Got the crank pulley spacers and the crank pulley lines up 100% with the jackshaft pulley. I finally got my 5.0 off the jacks now after Circle D sent me a new converter. Now I can put the Camaro on jacks to install the boost pipes and change the brake pads. Only part I need now are 3 long 5/16 coarse socket head bolts to hold the pulley to the damper. Originally I was going to use only 3 bolts to hold the 10 rib, now I'm going to use 6 bolts, 3 have to be long enough to go through the damper and hold the 6 rib on the other side.

I'm going to try to make a write up for how to do this upgrade along with notes that I've learned from doing it.

This weekend, just drilled and tapped the tensioner bolts. I still have to mount the power steering reservoir and fill it up.

Can't wait to see it.

Do you still have the IPF PS set up, (might have read where you modified it?) anyways, one of the best mods was the overkill PS kit. No HP gains but man, I've never been more happy to have a better PS set up. Old set up was garbage.

Still the original IPF setup, 4 years and no problems with it.
