There really is no need for it but it does allow you to log boost with a scanner or scan gauge.

Or if you wanted to and had the ability you could do a full speed Density tune eliminating the MAF but I don't suggest this for 98% of the community.

It makes your fuel pressure delta report correctly while in boost, which means the error isn't baked into the MAF sensor. I put one on every boosted 2010 Camaro.

Thanks guys!!

I mostly want it because I have Aeroforce gauges that plug directly into the OBD II. Now I don't have to run any special sending units from the engine compartment to my interior/gauges to read boost or fuel pressure

I had not thought of that thanks for chiming in with that great info.

No problem. For $37, it is worth it IMO.

Ok Noob question, So with the zr1 MAF the OBD will read & send boost pressure from FI to the aeroforce?

You can't just drop one in, you have to change the MAP sensor data in the tune for it to work properly so a custom tune is required.

But then Yes and Aeroforce gauge or any scanner can read boost from your obd2 port.

What kind of fuel pressure? At the rail or where?
