7.6" IRS the V6 ring & pinion

hello everybody actually i have a real big questions.??

is it a marvel or impossible to get more than ( 3.55 ) for the 7.6" IRS diff for the V6 auto gearbox 2013 ??????

Why is that ????

Is there a scientific reason ?????

Is it a marvel to manufacturing (( 3.91 or 4.10 )) ????

For a year.. i'm looking for a bigger than ( 3.55 ) ratio. but no hope..

best regards

You need to swap in the SS rear differential for the other gearing options.

but be aware you'll also need a lot of other parts. Like the hubs, driveshaft, axles, and the diff.

Well, being that the 7.6 rear end is only on the automatic V6 Camaros, there probably isn't that high of a demand, or maybe it has to do with mechanical strength.

Most of the V6 guys just swap to the SS rear end, at which point you can do 3.45, 3.73, 3.91, 4.10, 4.3x... Not counting the strength increase.

Unless I have missed out, to my knowledge the Richmond gear does not fit the 7.6 IRS. It's a pain in the ass, but you have to get the SS center section, axles and hubs. It all bolts up flawlessly to your car. You do not need the SS driveshaft. It is too short for the V6 setup. All in all you're looking at about 2k for new parts and around 1k for used. And about 9-5 hundred depending on the shop (or of course free if you're a G and do your own rear end work).

How I wish that someone tells me that it will be manufactured ratios as large as 3.91 or 4.10 for the ( 7.6" IRS ) in the near future.

best regards

Well the SS rear end swap isn't TOO bad, comparatively speaking, since you get beefier axles...

NO, there will likely never be any aftermarket gears for the v6 A6 7.6" IRS. That work?

It's not gonna happen. Just find a used SS differential. Or do a factory ZL1 rear end swap for 3.73

Bang for buck, the 1LE diff is the way to go. I'm breaking mine in right now, and it pulls so hard it's ridiculous. I haven't fully floored it yet (waiting until I get closer to the end of the break-in period) but from what I've felt so far 3.91 is the way to go.
