Question on buying a Camaro :)

Hey all...

I had a question on potentially getting a camaro.....

if I JUST bought a 2009 Scion tC TRD in September from a dealer (I still owe $16,000) on it.... how would I go about getting a Camaro?

Would I go to a dealer and "trade-in" my Scion, even though I havent paid for it in full???

Sorry.... ive asked ALOT of people, and no one really has a clear cut answer on the right way to do it.

Thanks all you lucky camaro owners

That is the easy answer. You'd do better selling it on your own, but if you trade it in they will pay off the balance of the loan. Even if for some reason you are upside down on the car, they can usually roll the difference into the new loan.

alright..... so you think, just find a private buyer?

Would they pay me the FULL amount? and then just owe the bank/dealer?

If you just sold to someone, they would pay you, then you would have to pay the car off and forward them the title.

If you trade it in... the dealership will handle everything.

You can look up the trade-in value on the NADA website: http://www.nadaguides.com/
It will give you three values... rough, average and clean.
You can usually expect the dealership to offer you somewhere close to the rough value.

Sell it on ebay and make your reserve 16000 that you owe on the car. Pay the Scion off and then order your Camaro.

I was ssjoe thanks for remembering me

I needed a car desperatley at the time, and something popped up on my credit check (ended up being credit fraud)..... so I got the scion :/

I regret it......

Im just trying to find the easiest way of doing it, and not putting myself upside down with a huge payment.
