I test drove 2 new 5.0 GT's before I ordered my Camaro, I can assure you that in my opinion I did not buy the faster car, I bought the better looking, better handling car.
The Mustang definitely felt like it got off the line quicker, accelerated quicker, and shifted better.

GM really is only back in the Camaro game, performance has been there all along with the Vettes and they easily could make the Camaro destroy the Mustang if they wanted to......they haven't yet.
like I said the 4th gens. . .whooped the mustang gt's ass. . .but guess what they weren't considered #1. yes the gt currently is faster in a straight line. but still #2.

Showing what? The existance of a car thats the worst kept secret in the industry? There isn't a whole lot you can get from these pictures. Most of the important aspects are in the drivetrain and suspension, and we have next to no details about that stuff.

They have to have the cars driving around in order to work the kinks out of them before production. And they can't really shoo away anyone with a camera.

No deposits yet....just a list. And it had people a LONG time ago.

2012 LSA Z/28 in Colorado

I just came across this blog about the 2012 z/28 Camaro in Colorado.
Is this for real or what? Are they already doing the testing?

It looks sick.

http://midlifemotors.com/blog/2010/1...8-camaro-found

Thanks
james

ps. I have used this shop before and they know what they're talking about. Good guys to deal with. True gear heads!

Gotta love the tow hitch. Maybe the Z will be for pulling a trailer.

The same picka-boo-glass that the ZR-1 has on it's hood? Holy cow that would really blow the GT 500 out of the water when it comes to unique styling.

I'm sure it's already been posted somewhere, but it occured to me that the orientation of the humps on the upper plenum suggest, to me, that those might be for the intercooler bricks, much like LS9 has in ZR1; which leads me to believe the 2300 might be stuck on LSA in Z28.

Hmm... I'm definately thinking 580+ horse' now

Below is an common image of the upper plenum with intercooler bricks on LS9:

Nice observation. Hope to see 2300 make to the Z.
