Replacing a rear wheel

Make a long story short, I have serious damage done to my LR wheel and it'll need to be replaced...all cosmetic but no way it can be repaired.

Chevy dealer wants over $800 but I found them online from originalwheels for $350 new, but almost seems to good to be true.

Anyone have any other suggestions on where to get a single OEM wheel?

Thanks for the info guys. Side question: How does switching out the TPMs work or do I need a new one? (ie are they permanently glued or screwed in?)

Actually, they are attached to the valve stem, screwed together. So when you get the new wheel, and when you take it to get the tire swapped over, the tire store will take is off the valve stem and install it on the new one.

I just recently damaged one of my polished rear wheels as well. I was able to get a price of $562 for a brand new wheel thru the dealer. I have a $500 gift from my GM card to offset that cost but not sure I want to use it on buying a new wheel but it looks like that would be the cheapest way out. I have been given a few ways to sand it over and make it a little less noticeable but haven't tried them yet.
In looking into wheel repair services you would be amazed at how well they can fix up damaged wheels. They can straighten them and reweld aluminum into the gouges, but at least with the poished wheels its going to cost you around $300 and theres a week turn around to get it done right. I would look in your regional forum and ask around.
Or take you chances on ebay for a new one. I saw one on there that said it was brand new, but the picture has wheel weights on the inside of the wheel so you have to be careful. (I guess it could have been a take off wheel?)

Yeah, something tells me that they would have a bit of trouble fixing this

No, I was not the cause of this wheel abuse lol

I'm all set for a wheel now, dealer had one that someone exchanged on delivery for another set.

Cool, glad you got set up on another wheel. I went and got some sand paper and clear coat for mine. We will see how that turns out first.

I'm telling you they could fix that wheel. I've seen some pics worse than that and the rim was also bent and they made it look like new. I just don't want to spend over $300 to do it.

Well, about $20.00 in supplies plus a dab of polish and dull buffer wheel/air tool, 1 hour, and a friend to dismount and mount the tire back up and look....
Not perfect but one hell of a lot better. Just imagine what a pro could do?
