which headlights to buy??
I want to get rid of my non rs headlights for a nice halo/hid headlight housing/package.
Problem is which one? Angel eyes, RS hesdlights, or those spyder dual ccfl ones from phastex performance? Which ones will be cheapest? Also if anyone knows of anyone selling a set in perfect condition then also let me know.

For cost wise you are best off just adding some Silverstars or Ultrastars. I've seen 1 or2 aftermarket Halo/HID kits that looked really nice, one was from Phastek which was like $450-$499 can't remember which. If you buy RS headlamps you will have to buy a set of headlamps plus a $90 harness from 5thGenDIY.

I mean im fine spending 500 to 600 bucks. Just wanna get the kit that has the less hassle. The spyder dual ccfl projectors are different. Thats been my lean

I already seen them but they just look like retrofitted halos. I want the full housing change

Dont forget that if you go with RS headlights, you'll also spend another 100 fire the harness needed to make them work on a non RS

Nothing else. Unless u want hids then you'd need an hid kit to just put into the eagle eye headlights. Btw if you're interested in the spyder headlights let me know. Had a friend that was selling some. I could find out if he still has em if you're interested

OP the Eagle Eye headlights will bolt up with out any other modification unless you get an HID kit then you will need to wire the HID Relay kit to the power and ground sources. They will plug into the factory harness and the halo is wired into the side markers or any other power and ground source that you would like.
I see that you are in Houston, if you would like to see them come on by our shop and we can show you what they look like. |
