More than fair.

The GM crew themseves being there would be good enough imo. That we have ANY cars there is bonus to me.

People who CAN'T understand this is being very selfish and not very understanding or care about others well being...

Hopefully GM continues to what is BEST for GM, or it could end up no more.

It's all good... it's not so much about the cars as it is friends getting together anyhow.

Tough decisions must be made... but you know what this means... you'll have to do more with less. You all will have to run the parking lot til 4AM with the rest of us diehards...

J/k,
We are extremely happy with any GM presence available at the event..

We too feel the tragedy in Japan in our industry. The Japanese people are in a precarious position and we do wish them better times ahead.

That being said we are HONORED to have the GM Camaro contingent attending C5FestII. We would be remiss if we said you are not part of our family as we hope we are a part of yours.

Will the mystery Camaro be a 'concept car' like the SSX or something that will go into production?

That would be cool, but I'm predicting the anniversary edition which I am looking foward to seeing. Unfortunately it will be from my computer, whichever awesome Camaro it ends up being.

Some other guys were saying it might be a new Transformers Edition(there have been some rumors about it), which the timing is right since the new movie is coming in 3 months. An Anniversary Edition would be cool too but it might be a little early since 45th should be a 2012 model but we haven't seen the regular 2012 ones yet.

However I think final production ZL1 is not likely

My niece was teaching just 60 miles from the center of the quake. Thank goodness she was not hurt, but had to fly to Korea for about 10 days for safety reasons. She is now back in Japan and trying to help bring back some stability to thier lives by helping to teach the children again.

Although I can not attend the camaro fest, I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures that will be posted of the event. I'm hoping to attend next years fest and driving my new camaro hopefully.

Scott, I enjoyed meeting you at C5F1 in Valdosta, unfortunately I understand the tightening of the financial belt. We felt saving for the ZL1 was more financially prudent than attending C5F2. Although we will miss being there with all of you, we will be attending virtually and sitting on the computer most of the hours of the fest. Not nearly as exciting as being there in person but I promise to be at C5F3 in our new ZL1. To everyone enjoy your time there and have a safe trip.
