First Performance Upgrades ?

Hey everyone! My name is Sirwestofash, i'm a little new to these forums, but i've been driving my Camaro for one year now.

I have seen countless set ups, color schemes, body kits, and halos for the Camaro.

In short, what I was wondering is... What are the best upgrades to purchase first for performance? (I have a v6 model, and i'm glad/lucky to have it.)

I don't want to twin turbo, supercharge or anything like that. I would need a V8 to get the money's worth out of it. I just want to know some decent not too costly upgrades I could get.

What companies do you use?

Online or Local?

I'm thinking about getting Halo's and maybe some LED lighting or a sub put in. Anyone have some personal stories to share?

************.com is the best ive found, free shipping and great response.
and i wouldnt do too much to a v6, youll never get any money back out of it when you sell, not that you will with a v8 but there are better chances. stick to exhaust only unless you want to turbo. dont do the in between parts, just a waste.

I would say an exhaust and cold air intake should probably be the first performance mods

Yeah I was thinking along the lines of a cool air intake, it would give me another 20-40hp right? I was looking into exhaust as well, but i didn't know if it would be good to buy the one from the GMaccessories site, or another place. My resell value is already gonna be hurt, i wrecked the car twice, insurance repaired and replaced a lot of things. I just want to customize and make it my own, and i want it to sound decent and perform a little better if possible.

Not even close to 20 or 40 try around 10 if your lucky. also the gm CAI are not available and they would be way overpriced.
