Well got the first performance mod done on the ZL1 and needless to say im very impressed! Took my 2013 Automatic ZL1 to Howard at Redline Motorsports to install my Roto- Fab CAI on wednesday and did some before and after dyno pulls and here are the results.

Bone stock:473 RWHP and 449.8 RWFT

After installed Roto-Fab intake: 506 RWHP and 475 RWFT!

Similar gains with mine - very impressive piece of kit - and on top of that it really brings out that blower whine!!

Awesome ain't it ... On mine with just the Roto-Fab and Solo cats, I can't keep the back end from snapping out from a 50 roll ...

That's a no tune with the Roto-Fab ... So far all the others require a tune. Roto-Fab is the BOMB !!!

I am sure bone stock RWHP has been discussed on Camaro5 before, but:

I am under the impression that "bone stock" RWHP on average is
approximately between 490 RWHP and 510 RWHP (depending on
manual or automatic trans and type of dyno being used.

How much RWHP increase does Roto Fab CAI with no tune add to
the ZL1 engine ?

Does Roto Fab add 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or more RWHP ?

Well I believe the man answered that with this thread, he saw an increase of 33hp. Although I hope that's not my gain, which is to say I didn't do a stock pull, and yes dynos are different, buy mine only read 515 with a manual after the Rotofab install, so that puts me in the 480's to the wheel stock which is the low low end for manuals. But they were running the AC and had the nannies on, I'm going to pretend that's the problem. Plus you never know about environmental factors, I was at a significantly higher elevation than this guy was.

Anyway, you won't be disappointed in the Rotofab CAI, so I'd say get you one and throw it on there. Isn't really hard to do yourself.

air temp also has a lot to do with it and whether the engine was ran cold on each run or not. but congrats to the OP. those are sweet numbers!

My M6 dynoed 526 to the Wheels with just the Rotofab and no tune - Stock was 490hp but different day so it's hard to say what the actual increase was - it's a fine piece of kit though for sure!
