2013 Camaro SS stock exhaust no cats

Got my JBA cat back today!!!!

Only thing that sucks is I have to work tomorrow and Thursday but Ill be off with a 3 day weekend so I get plenty of time to install it. I also get my tuner from JRE Tomorrow!

Can't wait!

They make a world of difference. I love having the cats off, and when I get AFM tuned out I know ill enjoy it even more

Take the cats off and you're violating FEDERAL LAW. The car cannot be sold or traded legally until the cats are put back on. So you better save those cats!

Yeah I remember reading about resale being less on a modded car. If I ever trade my car in ill put it back to stock

Actually...it's not. It's not legal for a manufacturer to sell it. Person to person it doesn't matter. It may be a violation to drive it on the road in some states without the cats..

I just looked it up the other night in another thread, yes it is illegal for anyone to remove them. I will find it again and repost if you want.

True, it's completely legal to remove the cats and use the vehicle off road. One good thing is there is no emissions testing in Florida.

The documentation is from 1990. I'm pretty sure In 22 years things have been revised. Which is why NASCAR is able to operate their vehicles without cats and not be in violation.

Also the shops that I talked to about installing my pipes told me the car would be required to arrive and leave on a trailer since it would be off road use only.

Because they have never been certified to be a street car sold to the public they are built from the ground up to be a race car.
