Pedders drop link question.
If anyone has followed my other thread I just got done installing the zl1 rear sway bar conversion with the xa coilovers. I'm getting a clunking sound from the rear at low speed and minor bumps. I checked every bolt that connects to the lca and everything is torqued correctly. The only thing that I can think of is the drop links. You can't tighten them till there is weight on the wheels so I can't get a torque wrench on them. How do I know they are tight enough? I was wrenching on them and got to the point where I can hear the bushings rub hard up against the metal. Should I tighten until I can't turn anymore? They look fine with weight in wheels. Once the car is lifted the bar drops a bit and I can see the bolt a little. Is this normal. Help please.
