if the freight was included in the price, like the us has, the pricing really wouldnt be that bad, were basically paying the us price for an rs package just for freight on top of our high prices. The only complaint i really have is the freight charge, its ridiculous, it shouldve been included in the price. But there is no changing this, so whatever, were all getting raped, we should be used to it by now. Im going to show my dealer the freight charge for my brothers mustang which was 900, and argue it. If its actually negotiable, then i will demand 750, ill try my best, but reguardless i do have a friend in there so he will be my plan B. Is there anyway we can make a poll for this, Is the Canadian Feight Charge Fair?
I still cant wait to see what the average buyer will think when they see the entire price. I love GM, but the adds im seeing here for challengers and mustangs would definitly puersuade average buyers to proceed with those cars because of the price. I remember Diarmadi had said something about this as well, how GMS efforts to make a great car just might be their little mistake(which we obviously dont think) because it increases the price of the car. I know there are many orders out there already but those are for the most part enthusaists. The LS with freight is very expensive for a base price.
I just would like GM to know that the freight charge is the main problem. The prices are still not fair, but theyre not that bad.

Americans generally use the American prices, which have been out for nearly 1 month. This thread is about Canadian prices as indicated by the title and various posts. Don't worry, you guys have smaller numbers down there.
Take off hoser, Aaaaaa

What's the situation with GMAC in Canada? Are they only giving loans for people with a rating of 700+ credit ratings? How much down payment is needed?

hey guys,

I can't find The Canadian Vehicle Order Guide anywhere. Can someone please hook up a link on here? And I do agree, the Canadian mark up is bullshit given we have a plant here in Oshawa. I wonder if the destination charge is removed if we go pick it up from the plant, anyone know? ...cause I live near Oshawa.

All manufacturers have always charged every buyer in each country the same amount regardless of which state/province you live in. This has been done for decades so please don't assume this is something new with the Camaro.

I beleive the prices should be fair especialy since the camaro will be made in Canada to begin with. Now that being said, Canadians din't complain about US car pricing years ago when on average Canadians payed 7 to 8 grand less in 80's 90's US dollars. the Car here would be 30 G's their it would be 23. Americans even tryed to go to Canada and buy them over their. That was when the canadian dollar was around 60 cents US so it was even cheaper than 23, now its the other way around. That being said I wish it was fair for everyone all the time.
