Finally received my new Hurst shifter knob and leather boot today, so I was able to get that installed! I think it turned out well! I love the look! Thanks to CFD for the shifter and thanks to BronxxBombers213 for the idea and then the great advice!!
Next up is MYLink install with NAV!!

A few pictures of my latest mods. Installed the MyLink radio with NAV this past week! Works great and am well pleased with the upgrade. Thanks to Gen5DIY for all the help with this! Install took about 4 hours, but wasn't overwhelming with the pdf file and the video! Was sad to see the Garmin go away tho! And the new MyLink NAV is not quite as intuitive as the Garmin, but it was nice not having it clog up my dash anymore! Also took the time to install the new SS lighted cup holders from Diode Dynamics!

Nice mods so far. The my link install doesn't look so bad from your pictures. I guess that'll be my next mod.

No, it wasn't really bad at all! Between the pdf file and the video Ofer sends along with it, it was pretty straight forward. I had just two real hiccups, and one of those, the female connector on the white wire instead of the male connector, has now been fixed. The other tricky part was the X2 connector, I couldn't get the black wire to lock in until I figured out it was hanging on the X2 unlock! Oh, and the center console was a little tricky taking out. Remember to pull straight up on the middle part after you get the 4 screws out! I broke the two center tabs and had to replace them!

I know I likely asked you this before, but how did you get the hurst knob to work on the shifter? That's really cool!
Great build by the way! |

Well, I have to share the the time finally came...after 6 years with her, my Camaro drove away with a new owner. It was hard to see her go, and I am sure I will miss those convertible days, but after moving to the country, she just wasn't practical anymore. So we purchased a new 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 and put the Camaro up for sale. I enjoyed those 6 years with her and hope she gives the new owner as much pleasure as she gave me!
