Are the heritage grills impossible to get now? I knew i should of bought an extra one for that just in case moment.

Yep oes are completely discontinued, they come up new every once in while on eBay but from gm they are donezo. There is an aftermarket that is supposedly pretty good but it only comes ready to paint.

That's what I've been thinking with as impossible to find as an OEM Heritage Grill has become. Oh well, I'll just pray I never have a need for a replacement one.

well if i ever need to replace my heritage grill i guess the ZL1 front bumper cover will be my next move because I'm not buying the original 10-13 grill since i got rid of mine.

Yes Agree. Thanks gang. Body shop was able to get it back in free of charge and now deciding whether to Repaint, Paint Correct, Coat etc or just do a Wrap.

I heard the OEM heritage grilles were discontinued too. It can't be too expensive to produce them. I guess the demand wasn't high?

Not to get too much off the topic (but you did bring it up) why on earth would a good body/paint man say his paint job would likely result in it peeling?!?!?
Really? I've had the front bumper repainted years ago, still looks exactly like the original paint job.
Me thinks you need to look for another shop......

Think you may have misunderstood. He didn't say his paintwork will start peeling.The Paint on there will start peeling. Plastic Bumper The Clear is "cracked" from whatever they did/used to try to pry things out.

Happens to my too, i have a stock ss grille. But mine always looks like that when i pull up on the autobahn on a very hot day and driving at least 150mph. The upper part lifts off like a airbrake and breaks the clips under the hood holding it in place. Happend to me like 4 times already

I just swapped out my heritage grille and there is no way in hell a grill e is coming out through the front, i would say they are trying to open the hood for parts....
