I called two other local dealers and got the same story again. I don't know when this started, a few years ago I got the headlights warranty replaced on my Honda, I had an appointment and a reservation for the job to start at a certain time, All I had to do was bring the car.

This is what’s confusing. The fuel line for the ZL1 is different than the one for the CTS-V and the LT1 Camaro. The fuel line I posted goes from the fuel tank to the hpfp. The other part number has connections on both ends and doesn’t replace the entire line, so it should be easier to install. If I were you, I’d wait and see which one is the right one.

The dealer had more than one tech look at mine and hopefully ordered the right part. The TSB didn’t list the part numbers.

Can add me to the list as well, recently got my 2023 ZL1 and it started day after I brought it home. Have an appt. on Tues with TSB and PART # handy (I'm leaning towards 84404473 being the issue). Will let you all know how it goes.

Edit: just heard back. Part is in. They are saying the tsb part number is 12663577.
Edit 2. I gave both pns to service writer. He and tech think either could be the issue and the tsb isn't clear. They are going to instal 12663577 next thursday first and try 84404437 if that doesn't work. I can't believe there isn't clarification on this.
@triggerjerk were you ever able to get yours fixed? Did you find out if 12663577 or 84404473 was the issue or both?

That’s odd, when I searched both part# at my local dealer they come up as not compatible? I tried both 2020 and 2023 model years in the search thinking maybe something changed for 2023

Isn’t your car under warranty? I double checked the part number on the service sheet and the service advisor pulled it up in the parts diagram on his screen when I was there.

I hope it’s the correct part.

I’m just coming off warranty so always looking at different issues and possible future problems, stocking up on parts for when GM decides to stop making parts. My car is going to be a family hand down car for the generations. I know it sounds weird but having parts on hand makes life easier when dealing with relying on dealerships to fix any issues

What’s weird is I haven’t seen any posts for this problem before the 2023s came out. Now it’s reappeared. I had a 2022 and it didn’t have this problem. When the part is installed I’ll definitely post the results. I’m going to contact the service advisor next week and see if the part has come in.

I called my dealership to get an update and like others, they say the part is still on back order. They previously told me the ETA was 8/17 - 8/21 but now there is no ETA.

So far this has been an enlightening experience owning a GM vehicle.

Took mine in Thursday, dealer had it for all of 10 minutes, returned it and said, we've ordered a fuel line (I brought the info shared in this thread). Call you when it is in.

I asked what Part Number and they looked at me like I had asked what colour a giraffes tongue is in the spring.

I'll post my paperwork when I get the call back, and get'r fixed. Not holding my breath...

I think that I saw my car choke for a second when I had it in TRACK and was doing some pulls, I was doing the tap the gas to the floor, get performance shift mode to activate, and then it would choke for a second when I went WOT/Near WOT. I'm not sure that ive heard it do that before and I didn't want to maybe confuse it for traction control. I later had it in PTM race and still fell on it's face for a second. I may not have gotten that reaction becuase *normally* I roll in to the gas and don't get WOT until im past 60 at least. THis time it was hot out and the tires were hot so I was playing with it like that.
