Difference between 1 7/8" and 2" ARH Headers
As the title states, is there any HP/TQ/Sound difference between the 2 sizes?

Everyone will give thier opinion and that really all it is, but i go with the professionals opinion, and they say that if you want only headers on a otherwise stock car go 1-3/4. If you want other goodies go 1-7/8. And if you want a 700 hp machine for track go 2

Minimal differences in rwhp and torque. Sound I have no idea. If you do a search there are numerous threads that discuss this topic.

I doubt it would make much of a sound differance. Stick with the 1 7/8 unless you plan on adding some serious power.

Go stepped, and you'll get the best of both worlds, that is if money is of no concern to you. Good luck.

I installed a set of step 1 7/8" - 2" Kooks headers and their full 3" catted exhaust last week.Sounds good.
Car is parked for the winter now though, will put it on the dyno in the spring to see how much gain compare to with a stock setup. |

My car made 403hp with a set of pacesetter 1 3/4 headers threw stock h pipe with a muffler delete. Now it makes 436 with 2in ARH and 3in x pipe.
