Hi to all you Fort Myers Camaro5 folks. I'm on the other side of the state (Hollywood) but I'm coming over to see my Red Sox play for the weekend of March 15-17. Just wanted to say hi and maybe get some ideas of restaurants and stuff to see and do while I'm in your neighborhood. The wife has not been to Sanibel or Captiva so that's a day trip for sure. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Sorry you can't make it on the 23rd (Friday). Hope others can and that it'll be a nice evening.

I took my car to the dealer this morning because the service airbag light/message was on. I was told the entire airbag module in the steering column is messed up and that the parts are back ordered. In the meantime, Chevy declared the car unsafe and wouldn't release it back to me. The service rep told me it's possible I could be without my car for a month and they'd rent a vehicle for me. I told him I wanted a Vette...I ended up with an Impala. There's NO comparison between that and our Camaros!!! I sure hope I have my car back by the 23rd as I'm sure I'll suffer from an inferiority complex if I have to pull up at the restaurant in the Impala.

I got my club business cards from you a couple days ago. I gave one to another Camaro owner this morning that was bringing his car in for some work too. On the way home I stopped by a dentists office in Lehigh and parked next to a LT2 Camaro and left a card on his windshield.

Hopefully others have requested the cards from you and are passing them out.

Thanks, I didn't think about that and glad you mentioned it. I noticed this morning, when I was close to the dealership, that the car had just rolled over 1204 miles. I wouldn't blame some mechanic for wanting to take her out for a spin, but I hope all that come in contact with my keys can resist the temptation.

need to do a fort myers/naples/leehigh/cape meet sometime... would be fun, wanting to go to another show after the 1st annual sunshine state rally! had alot of fun there

Jerry I really am glad you are trying to help Build SwflGens. i know i ave my friend who was at the Jan meet he drives a Mustang and he said to give him a couple and he will pass them out and he has one guy called me said its weird having a Mustang guy giving me a Camaro club card.
