You still need to make cuts like the factory system but the system is bolted in as opposed to being welded in. That in itself makes a huge difference. Basically we are replacing a lap joint that is already there with the diverter. we also added the custom turnout which not only redirects exhaust down and out but maintains ground clearance and stays within the factory heat shields as well. Not to mention the wicked cut on it looks kinda evil too... Form and function were maintained.

Cutting wasn't a big deal since that's what muffler/exhaust shops do all day long. Was really just curious for those who would install these on their own.
I noticed it installed under the heat shield. I had to go look up another pic to see if that was a normal heat shield since it was so stinkin' clean. Saw that it was. That yellow SS must have been brand spankin' new.
I noticed the tear-drop shape of the diverter outlet. Was wicked cool with the sharp point on it!
I can't wait for availability! Sound clip or video would be icing on the cake.

The weight isn't an issue.

The sound is great I tried to take some video with my iphone but it didn't work out so well. I will work on a clip.

The best thing is when you hit the button and you see the face of the person sitting next to you.....

Is NOWEEDS going to be getting together with ARH to sell a long tube header/diverter kit? If not how much is the bolt on Diverter kit?

Our plan is to sell this direct to you guys- the customer- but we will let you know if anything changes as far as a kit/package goes.

Pricing for the system for the American Racing Exhaust will be less than our standard Camaro system @ 895.00 less the camaro5 discounts.
