No I didn't. I had them installed by the shop that installed my Whipple. I can ask how long it took them and if it was very difficult and get back to you.

Ahh ok. Thanks. If it's not that hard I might go ahead and order them with the rest of the stuff I am ordering Monday and install it all while I've got the car on jacks.

He just got back to me and said it took about two hours and was a pain to get the housings open and that you have to be real careful. Good luck if you do it yourself! Did you order the side markers? I have them tinted and painted to match but I'm going to let AAC install them at the Fest.

Ok thanks a lot. I don't know if I'll do it my self now haha. Might just send them mine and let them do it.

You're welcome. Might be a wise move on your part to let them do it.

I've read that the sidemarkers are not hard to do if you don't have jumbo arms. If you have a lift, the're pretty easy.

I asked IPS if I could pop mine in while my car is on their lift next week.

If you're going to the fest anyway, then it's probably easiest to let them do it.

I don't have a lift, and I figured since they're offering a free install on the side markers and footwell lighting I'll let them install both for me.

yea theyre not hard at all. rear ones you need needle nose pliers if you do it on the ground. i did mine yesterday. fronts just unscrew fender well and push in the tab with a flathead.

I'd love to get the footwell lighting.

Do you know if they'll install the afterburner taillight LEDs if I send them my taillights?

I'm not sure. Send Jonathan a PM and ask. I don't see why they wouldn't.

AAC has 2 types of afterburner taillights: SMD and CCFL.

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/afterburner.aspx

Which do you recommend?
