Or just take my word for it. The V6 is a blast. But not a V8.

I'm thinking about getting the V6 so that I can afford to buy other things...like food. I still don't know where I'm going to go but if I do get the sixxer I'll eventually work it into a 400 horsepower GT killer

OK next time you come to Houston ... Here's a good comparison that has 40,000 miles. I'll let you drive my 2006 CTS VVT Sport / Black Raven.....I'm sold on the VVT engine...No issues...She will lay down black patches and still get 27 mpg on the highway...

I don't see many people here dissing the V6, and most of what I've seen is fairly goodnatured fun.

i am going to be proud that My Camaro is "Just a little V6" I am ordering the 3.6 emblem from a Saturn Aura and putting it on the back of My Camaro.. that way when I leave one of those puny mustang V6's (or a older Mustang GT V8) in my dust they will know it was just a V6 camaro not a V8...

I agree, I see more threads about people complaining about dissing the V6 than the actual disses. In my book, the V6 and V8 Camaros are brothers, and all other cars out there are nothing but distant relatives. We've got to stick together, rather then fight amongst ourselves. I for one love the V6 and am hoping to get a test drive in one someday!

Our v6 is just bad@$$, and yeah its not a v8, but hell if i owned a SS, i would be happy that the base car just kills its competition. I cant wait to see thenumbers on this engine with a turbo, Scotty, you just do your thing, let me know how it works, and i will be soon to follow!

I am getting a sixer and looking forward to it. It will be my primary vehicle so I need the extra mpg....not looking to really race it, however might rev it up next to a few of the ricers in town at the stop lights and then let 'em have it on green, but that's just my personal need in a car....

The V8 is the big brother. The V8 will pick on the V6 all the time, but you can be rest assured the V8 will be quick to help stomp out anyone who messes with his little brother

I had a big bad 5.7ltr 350 CID IROC-Z back in 1989 that only had 245 horsepower. My 2010 V6 will put that to shame.
