I am experiencing neck pain everytime I crank my Boston Acoustics speakers and start banging my head like THIS is there a mod for that? Maybe a HANS device like thing that lowers from the headliner? IDK but this is a persistent problem. I cannot alter my behavior so obviously the car needs alteration. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

Why cant you use the trunk? lol that seems like the best thing to do, dont have to worry about the chime, no tears or rips, nothing sliding... seems like the best solution

I carry a pretty big bag for night school and I just move the passenger seat all the way back and place it on the floor.

Maybe instead of soldering the wires, make a little plug and play kit for the plug end of it. Then you have a marketable item although I'm not sure it would be legal to market something that circumvents the safety warning system....LOL You just need a loop back, real easy to make. In fact I can make it for you if need be.

Might be time for a Silverado Z71 or a Cruze so you have 4 doors.

Get an extra buckle that you can just snap in. No reason for all of the rude comments. He was wanting to know if there was a workaround for his method.

When my dog rides with me the chime goes off because the sensor's can tell there is a 60 pound something in the seat. The air bag is turned off and the chime keeps going. I found If I turn the radio up and the window down, I can't hear the chime anymore. But the wife tells me i'm old and can't hear chit any way hehehehe

Go to the junkyard and cut off the end of a buckle and.latch it. All the gm stuff should be the same.

The trunk is perfect for all you bags, etc. That's what it's for. I put all my stuff back there. It's safe and it's out of sight, (which is a great theft deterrent because theives aren't going to break into your car if they see anything). Plus, you always run the risk of harming your leather by having all that stuff on the seat.
I don't see how using the trunk could be annoying. This is the easiest, most hassle free and best solution to your problem. You'll get used to it.

WOW, can someone help figure out where to put my wallet while I'm sitting in the front seat? I don't want to leave an impression of my wallet in the drivers seat.
