Wanted Tips For Headlight Halo Install
Just wanted to see if anyone had some tips or tell me about some of the pitfalls when doing this mod. I did the tail lights already and it was a bit tricky.

They are tricky. It may be worth paying someone to do them. It takes 2 people to get the bumper off and then removing the lights, then baking them in oven and the install and the resealing...
I took my car to AAC from the Chicago area, it was a great trip and Justin and his team are awesome! |

It will take all day, For a first time guy, You know how to remove the front bumper, The head light's come off the car that is no big deal.
The hard part is opening the head light, You do the oven thing (if it gets cold put the light back in the oven it will take you 5-10 times on the first light) and then use a pick or screw driver to get under the lens to pop it out, You have to do it on the side and work down the side use 2-3 screw driver to pry it out of the Chanel that has a hard rubber sealer holding the lens in the hosing. If you deform the hosing you can fix it by using the oven as soon as its up to temp you can bend it back to form, Get some RTV blk to use to seal the lens and the rest is not that hard if you can let the RTV sit over night that is the best. Good luck and post some PIC's |

He is right It took me about 30 minutes to remove the bumper. But, about 6 hours of heating the oven to about 275 for 20 minutes at first then about 10 after to open the light up. I used the black automotive sealer to glue them back and did give it over night to really dry good. You will need vise grips to hold then together while it dryes. Then I wired them to my parking lights. You noticed I did my fog lights too. Also, install HID"S for the fog lights too.

Run! Buy RS headlights!
I would ship them to AAC and have them installed.
