great to see another Camaro from Germany on the first Site.
How i have said , you have an awsome ride ;o)))))

and yes the Splitter i have build and i cant do anything for teh Shipping costs. if there is anyone who knows an Better way for Shipping PN to my.
But you see manny of the German Camaros have bodykits and Parts imported from the USA, and there olso the Shippingcost from the USA to Germany are horrible. We have the same problems here with the import;o)

Very nice car, congrats!

Thanks for all that great response!

ABout the seats: These seats are from Recaro (recaro.com) and called "Sportster CS Edition 2011" in leather and with sideairbags. Here in Germany one is about 2000€ (2800$). To install it you need to add another 1000 - 2000 $.

Because there are no parts fitting to the camaro you need to handbuild the seatmounting and rails. Then you need to adapt the original sensors for seat position to these new rails.

At least you must change the "seat occoupied sensor mat" from the original co-driver seat to the Recaros (difficult).

Because of missing sensors in the Recaros you can't use the original seat-heating-buttons anymore. There are now new one on the seat (Made by Recaro).

The airbag-connection is quite simple. Just connect the to cabels from the original seat to the Recaro cabels. That's it. But if you mis one sensor, nothing will work!

The Body Kit is from Sinister (US) with an individual painting. The Splitter as said above is from User Blacky.

Hope this will answer your question.

Looks really good! Do you have any more photos of the back seat area? Looks like you did a nice delete from one of the photos, I'd like to see more and how you did it.

Beautiful!

I wish we had a stretch of road somewhere in the U.S. with no speed limit

WOW! That is my wet dream! So those seats only weigh about 24 lbs a piece! Anyone know what the stock SS front seats weigh together? And what about the stock weight of the back seats? I think I heard from Ultimate Factories, the seats in the front weigh in at about 200lbs together. Can someone get me some accurate info!? I want to replace my 2 front seats and remove the back seats all together, I think that would translate into some great performance! If the two front seats totaled about 200lbs and 200lbs for the back, you'd be shedding over 400lbs!

Dunno if the numbers are accurate though.

Eine Frage. What type of tires do you drive during the German winters? P-Zero summer only tires would be a challenge. I've driven from Frankfurt to Hamburg in winter weather. A bit of a challenge for me and I'm a mid-west boy that has been driving rear wheel drive cars for the last 30 years of St. Louis winters. Bracing for this winter. :-)

I love the stock wheels blacked out. That's what I did with mine and of all the wheel combinations out there, stock still looks best...but black. :-)
