Maybe some1 can learn from my experience, or take solace in hearing from another "sucker".
The good news is that you're aware that they overcharged you. If they ha treated you fairly, you'd go back. Now, that salesperson has to work harder for that next sale because you won't be giving them any free business. In the end, you still come out ahead.

My service rep races midgets

and when he can get a ride, Sprint cars. They have two Camaro customers at the dealership, me and some lady (they sell Caddies and Infinities, that's their main business). Whenever I go in, we talk dirt track for a while then he always asks what I think he needs to know about Camaros. I tell him about stuff I read on this board, TSBs etc. I've had them install a few aftermarket things, Cat Back, CAI, sway bars etc. and he always bumps me to the top of the list and has he me go with the mechanic who's doing to the work, to "supervise". He is not knowledable about Camaros but is learning. Good to have a gear head for a service rep. The day they installed the Borla he about s--t. I went to pick up the car and he said, OK, stand in back of it, then started it with the remote. He had a permagrin, for my car. Can't ask for more than that.
