Anyone using this OBX chassis brace?
Found this and I need to do either some spacers or buy something like this for my vert so I can install 3" exhaust. Looks to be decent looking and is much cheaper priced than others out there.

Why do you think you need this for 3" exhaust?

Get good quality exhaust. My Magnaflow 3" kit fits perfectly and doesn't contact the cross braces even without spacers.

Because I bought the Dynomax race bullet 3" kit and I have a convertible. The plate that BOTH the coupe and convertible share isn't the issue. It's the extra one the verts have

I have spacers in mine right now. The OBX is a knock off of the ARH brace which is not cheap.

Yeah I was looking at specs of those two and they look exactly the same. I was wondering if the obx was a copy or a reboxed kit

Ok so here's a picture of the ARH brace. Can anyone tell me if there's any difference in the OBX picture above?

I would say it's exactly the same picture. I compared the shadowing, and it seems to be exactly the same. Guess that begs the question, are they selling the same brace?
Seems likely.....

That's what I'm wondering. The "cheap" one doesn't mention about it being made here in the states but the other one does. I know many companies outsource stuff all the time and slap their sticker on it and put it in their own box. Heck, when I worked at Timken, we would pack bearings in Ford, GM, Dodge, etc packaging all the time and there wasn't anything different between them other than the box they were put in

A lot of folks using OBX products and happy with em. I always advise to just be careful of the source you buy form. Make sure you buy direct or know distributor.

It depends, if you like toaster covers, you'll like 5th Gen chassis braces.

Overkill, huh? I've read your opinion on the 5th Gen strut brace, so I know you don't think that's really necessary to help keep the front clip from flexing.....
