These fools trying to take all my money!

So I went to test drive and test the waters at my local
Stealership in the south Miami area right on US 1
For the local guys.

Anyway took a MT out and the car is absolutely all that and then some!
From performance to handling etc and that's just on a test drive I can just imagine when I actually own one.

Anyway these guys didn't want to budge from
List price of $61 k
Which I thought was F'ing crazy especially learning what you guys paid for 2013 sunroof, my link, no nav carbon insert.
So I countered with $56k plus tax tag manager says no
So I walked.

Fast forward to today they have the same car listed for $58,999
So I will give them a call again and open up negotiating again.

Well let you guys know what happens.

all you need to do is call another dealer aand tell them that over the phone and they will give you a better deal and then go back to us 1 and get them to beat that deal. I baught my car at kendall chevy i know it has new owners now... Honestly it will prob be worth it for you to make a few hours drive and steal the car from some one.I sell cars for a living and hate when people dothat shit lol i make less money

I'd have a hard time giving them my business after giving you a hard time like that.

Give them a copy of today's Wall Street Journal-there is an article on Detroit's unsold cars piling up.

This! Also, these things are all over Ebay and many other sights for sticker. Don't pay a mark-up when you don't have to. My Dad searched for months and I finally found him one on Ebay for $500 under sticker. He had to drive 300 miles to get it, but he got the deal he was looking for.

Easy slick.

There is normally only between $1300 and $1,900 mark up on these cars.

Vette's normally have about $6,000.

They were trying to keep the price point low to compete with the Mustang.

Too bad they did not bump up the power!

I always competitive shop for cars. I have never paid sticker for a new car. Depending on the market, sometimes you will get a great discount and other times the margin will be slim.

It pays to shop around, because the savings that you can get from a good deal can be applied to other things when you take delivery.

Well I've been going back and forth between 3 dealers in Miami, one has a black zl1 with chrome wheels coming in a week .
I asked them to switch the chrome rims w/black rims off of another zl1 they have on the lot.
I offered $59,999 out the door everything included.
We will see what they say.

So thru me not giving up on finding the best price, I fell upon a dealership north of Florida, who is selling a 2013 auto tranny, no sunroof, my link, no nav . For $57,765

Best price I found in Miami was $59,999 the dealer north of Florida sounds like a pretty standup car salesman I thought those types were extinct.
Anyhow he will give me an offer on my trade and I hope to have a black zl1 w black rims on it's way to Miami within a week.

Go and get Internet quotes from other dealers and take those quotes to the GSM. Tell them you live locally and don't want to take your business outside out their PMA. Or pick up the phone and talk directly with the GM. It's the end of the year, dealers are flexible right now trying to improve numbers and placing a ect. Promise them an excellent survey and all that good stuff. Don't be an ass... I'm a dealer myself and would just tell you to go away unless I like you and your attitude. Lol.
