I got my car in June 09 and only 1 issue. The dealer replaced a compressor or something that was making noise associated with the AC.

On the other hand, our Toyota 4 Runner (also 3 years old) has had numerous issues.

Maybe I just have good luck with my cars. I have a 2004 Duramax 3/4 ton 4WD with 96,000 miles and it has never been in the shop. My Jaguar has 54,000 miles and it had only one shop experience. It needed an ECU update for the supercharger. My Camaro, only 2500 miles so far but working fine. Now I don't beat them hard so maybe that is the secret.

[QUOTE=Blacktip;4645115]Man I completely understand, I honestly will probably NEVER get another Chevy ...I know this will probably piss off some of you die hard Chevy Guy's ....but tuff.
I have always had Ford's, my first car was a mustang and my last car before I got the camaro was a f250 .....NEVER had any issues with them.
Last year I decided to get my first Chevy, and bought my beautiful 2011 SIM 1LT RS..
Car was right off the truck ...I was extremely happy.
4 weeks later started having problems with my passenger side window ...two weeks after that the driverside window .....the first 6 months I had the car, it was in the shop about 6 times.
um, I am not a genius ....but put two and two together and anybody can see these cars are made like shit .....I don't know how Chevy spent our bailout money, but it wasn't on quality control.
so when it was time to get my wife a new car 3 months ago ......we went
....but I absolutely love the way this car looks and drives, and will continue to mod and have fun with this car ........but as soon as Ford's design team gets their act together and puts out a good looking mustang, I will be ditching this Chevy quick[/QUOTE

See, that's why you are having issues with the Chevy. God knows you are a Ford fan at heart and you don't deserve to have a Chevy. J.K. Seriously though, keep in mind, all makes have issues.

Hope you get everything worked out.

And same to you, TJ. Sorry if you feel his comments are some sort of help, I think they're bitchin' from someone who already has said he doesn't like GM.

Op... I thought you were all I love this car, I worked so hard for it, I'll never sell it... All the way to the tune of swapping the V6 for a V8 because this car had "sentimental" value to you...

As said, if you hate it, trade it and move on.

I've had my Camaro for almost a year now and I consider it the best car purchase I've ever made (I bought my first car in 1980). I couldn't be happier with this car, though I can understand anyone's frustration with having to deal with any issue on a new car.

sorry for anyone's misfortunes with a new car. However, I pre-ordered my
2SS/RS and it has been the BEST car I ever owned! I now have over 41K miles, and just replaced the tires last week. I might have a small complaint with the AC (bulletin on this) so I think GM will cover the issue. Otherwise, drive it till the cows come home! I will be a repeat customer for the Camaro~

Talking

8000 miles here and in just four months, no issues at all. If I were you I would just go back to Ford and get a Mustang, it's what you really want, now go and get it. Every Ford product I have ever had was an extreme fail no matter how well I took care of it, since then I vowed to NEVER own another Ford again, I moved on over to Chevy and haven't looked back, ya Chevy has issues with their cars but what car maker doesn't?
Certain makes of cars work out just fine for certain folks and vice versa. Ya you might have some issues with your Camaro although they are not issues that would make me change my mind on the make of car, My Fords had MAJOR issues, if they just had minor issues like the ones you are describing then I probably would still be driving them, but I look at it this way- they had their chance.........they blew it with me, if and/or when Chevy blows their chance with me then I will be looking at another make, but over the last twenty five years Chevy hasn't let me down. Give them a chance to make it right before you come on here biching about it and dissing them, otherwise just go and get your precious little Mustang, .........Who Cares?

Didn't know you was having an issue with your car tj. You should of have pm'ed me.

I just only read what you wrote in the front page so I don't know where you are with the problem but did you check for leaks from the ice o lator? Any cel so far? I just found out that I had a very small leak from my insulator on the rear side. If I never checked my fuel trims I would have never known. Im glad I caught it early.

My car does this as well if I am understanding you correctly.. Only thing I've seen negative about my car in over 45k miles..

It only does it when the interior is hot/warm fyi... For sure something w/ the gauge..
