GM is not planning to expand Chevrolet's SS offerings in the foreseeable future. GM defines the SS trim as a track-ready package. My take—don't hold your breath for a Cruze SS or Impala SS.

He cannot share any news on the next generation of GM's V8s. He made a point to mention CAFE. I made sure to ask about fighting EcoBoost. He says that the communications team will get back to me. I'm thinking that's good news.
