After looking at this car for an hour now, I am in love! Only thing I would change is the spoiler and front splitter, but I can understand why they're on there. Just awesome.

see now i am confused. i have heard with the vortec supercharger you get 600 to the crank, and to the wheels you should be putting down around 530-540. guess different dynos different numbers. and i do not know what dyno those results for vortech came off of.

now for the car. i do like it it does look good. now just to make sure! is this a DALE EARNHARDT OR JR? i know some people will say it does not say jr so no its not or something rude. but you never know. that is why i am asking. but if i would have known and was not impatient i would buy only if it was not a jr.

Yep,different dyno's will give different results, these cars were run on a Mustang load-bearing dyno, and produced between 530-540 rear-wheel horsepower,on a "non" load-bearing dyno (such as a lot of Dynojet's) they would probably show a 15-18% increase which would be around 630.
They factored everything in at the flywheel/crank to be around 704 hp. But like I said,"true" rear-wheel hp is between 530-540.

Other than the front splitter i think it looks ok. That front splitter with those braces would have to come off right away. Dont think it looks good. They finally took them off the NASCAR COT race cars as well.

Funny you mention that,I mentioned that as well to my buddy (who was one of the lucky techs who got to build the cars!) and he said maybe they would do something different for the 2012's if they continue to build them.

I understand the theme with the spoiler and splitter. Are there other options for the spoiler and splitter?
You could have them special build you one the way you want and leave them off, maybe go with a different front splitter, and an SLP rear spoiler instead.
What they actually do for the rear is buy new decklids from GM without the spoiler holes,It was cheaper, easier, and better for them to do that instead of trying to fill the factory ones in the original lids.

The guy is dead. I could understand finishing the build on the first one, but whoever came up with this is just cashing in on his name. Personally, this shows no class.

I don't care how much of a "tribute" it is to him. I used to be an Earnhardt fan and respected him and his business, but when he died so did his character and integrity. Who ever is running that thing, I think its the wife, is a bit of a gold digger IMO.

Common place in todays society. Ride the coat tails for all it's worth no matter how foolish it makes a person or company look.

I'm confused; 704 FWHP - 15% drivetrain loss = ~598RWHP
530RWHP woul be ~25% drivetrain loss????
Why isn't there ONE way (ONE STANDARD) to arrive at an accurate RWHP #???
How the heck do you know who is BS-ing??????
