I wish, no im getting the 2LT with the IOM trim pack, i initally ordered the RS, but im going to drop it because with probably 6.9 interest, this already exceeds my budget. What about you? by the way, just call me Dennis lol

Do you think 6.9 interest sounds right, im hoping for a miracle from God for it to be 3.9, that way this would fit my budget perfectly. i worked out my price to 39k total, with 7500 down, that leaves me at 31500 to finance, do you know how much interest that would be at 6.9? if you do let me know so i can see my mothley payments, and then i can see if it fits the budget or not.

I'm sticking with my original 2SS plan. You're getting IOM color right?

i sure hope it's not 6.9% financing..... i was hoping for 2.9 or even better...0%. lol, i can dream can't I? the way my dealer explained financing options to me, it came across as lower than prime rates.... maybe my head was in the stars thinking about my camaro at the time....

No but if I were you Dennis, I would still consider the RS package because you will have a bit of time to save. I don't think we will be getting our cars before June.

June? really? wow that is way farther then i expected. I really want the RS pack, but i probably wont have enough money saved by then, but if interest rates are less, then ill have enough money saved up for the RS package, but as for now, i will be very happy if i can afford the 2LT with IOM trim package. I thought our cars would roll in around March or April?

the reason i hope its low is because the dealer said if i went through the bank(through gm finance dept) it would be low rates, he showed me a financing chart and i think even the corvette was at 2.9, and most other vehicles were at 0%....

You dont even understand the smile you just put on my face. 2.9% is amazing, I wonder if its negotiable. But im not sure, seeing as its new, i think it will be closer to 6.9 but lets keep our fingers crossed

I feel pretty confident that once the finance problem has been dealt with, GM and the other 2 will be putting out a few incentives to get things moving again. I would think that the govt. would want to see some economic stimulation by lending them money.

That would make sense, but im not sure about any incentives on the camaro for atleast a year. 2.9% interest at production will be all the incentives i need.
