Went for a nice drive early this morning...

(these probably belong in the photos section but whatever...) Some in the GTA might recognize this little strech of road. Beautiful drive. But usually jammed full of tourists, motorcycles and bicycles. That's why I got there this morning at 6:05am - just after the sun came up. Nice drive, nice photos (made me realize I need a better camera ), on the 2nd pass I even contributed to the collection of black marks up the hill by the hair-pin turn.

Enjoy

I lived in Etobicoke until I moved to Niagara in 1987. I the early 80's I had a sport bike (Suzuki GS650E) and we used to ride up to The Forks after work, back then all you had to worry about was a patch of sand on the road when you were scraping your kneepad.

BTW, you must have balls of steel to park in the center of a blind corner even at 6:00 in the morning.

Actually where I'm parked in that one spot isn't that close to the blind corner. I'm right at the actual hair-pin. The blind corner is up the hill a good 500 feet or more. But I was listening very carefully!

Nice photos! You're right...I never thought about my camera until I started taking all the Camaro photos and now I want one that takes great pics instead of being small and cute!
