The old car was an LS but the new one looks to be an SS, so not applicable.

Obviously you've done something to anger the car gods. Don't get too close!

Good luck.

Thought I had bad luck, hydro static lock up on my '12 minivan, to the tune of over $6k year before that some ass at walmart backed into and crushed the front end of our HHR ($5k) BOTH before I made the first payment, sent the first payment in on the Camaro the day I took possession, no problems in 8 months (knocks on wood!)

So I do feel for ya, looks like a killer SS you've bought, at least it should be under warranty??

That sucks, I feel your pain. My car is in the shop now. With that oil pump issue, the V8 have. GM, needs to get their act together!

This is what I was going to ask. How do you drive? Hard, Medium, Easy?

It can't just be "bad luck", we're all looking for a pattern here. Are we missing something about your style of driving, typical use of the vehicle, person doing the service?

The biggest POS and problem vehicle I ever owned was a brand new 1997 Corvette C5. In and out of the shop all the time, poor quality, electronic gremlins and glitches. Every time I'd bitch to another Corvette C5 owner, they'd look at me like I had a turd growing out of my forehead. Huh? So, sometimes we just have bad luck, but hmmmmmmmmmm.
