MGW Short Throw for every day driving?

I have read some very positive reviews about the MGW. My buddy says that it is mostly for racing and wondering if that is true or if it is enough of an improvement for every day driving. Admittedly I am finding the stock shifter a bit clunky at times.

Great shifter. No problems with a daily driver.

The MGW is very nice.
Smooth and clean shifting and significant reduction in throw. (33%)
The stock shifter is kind of sloppy.

I have the Barton, which is a 44% reduction, and is very precise but notchy, which is exactly what I like- positive shifting, and a snap when you get into gear.

You should be pretty happy, and it will make daily driving more fun.

MGW is a great shifter. I replaced a Hurst with the MGW and love it. Short throws, smooth and precise. I see no problems with using it for a daily driver.

Huge improvement as a DD and racing shifter. MGW did thier homework when they designed it.

the stock shifter is a embarrassment. Its junk. the 1st mod should be the shifter. The MGW or TWM is perfect for a DD or race

Yeah, It's more like is the Stock Shifter Safe to drive for everyday driving haha. The mGW is by far the best shifter available. They even have design patents that no one can touch.
