No more Holley valve covers
After the PCV issue I had with the Holley valve covers I took them off and sold them. I powder coated my stock valve covers krinkle mat black and my coil mounts metallic silver. Here are the results. Sorry for the one pic at a time,
I'm doing this off of my phone. |

May I ask, what kind of issue did you have with the Holley value covers that you had. I brought the same ones, just haven't got around to install them. I see you have a supercharger, I don't, will I have the same issue. You can PM me, if you don't want to post it up on the forum. Thx!

Please disregard my last post, I just came across your post regarding the issue that you had with them. The value covers did look badass on your car. Now I got to make the decision if I want to install them, along with the inline filter on my car.

Mike, I have an extra polished set of Holley covers that I'll make someone a heck of a deal on them.

I run holleys on my car. Zero issues. Several friends with 1000+hp cars run them, also zero issues. I would recommend them. Great looking and priced well. If you are having PCV issues I don't think it is the valve covers fault.

I'm running the Holley covers on mine (w/supercharger), no issues. The 'black crinkle' looks good with what I have under the hood.

So, if you had a problem with them, why would you sell something defective? Your ad made no mention of a problem with them only that you were doing some spring cleaning.

Looks great! Holley's baffle allows oil to sling off the rockers up into it where the oil is then sucked out the vent....not a good design. They are fine if used on a LS3 style valley cover where the PCV vent on the valve cover is not used.

Holleys have the same shield/baffle as stock covers. They work fine. Plenty of people use them with zero issues.
