How about an option for "No, I wouldn't buy it because it's not called a Z/28 and I don't want something called a Z/28."
Or something like that who would be enticed to buy it if it was called a Z/28 but just being an SS with more power isn't enticing. However, I also think the SS should be top of the line, not the Z/28 as the SS was supposed to be back in the day. |

I will love it just the same!
I think that the branding is already done for Z/28 so it is a natural fit. But if it is any sweetier than my 2SS I will still be a fan no matter the name.

I've been stuck on the idea that it'll take the V badge along with all those other CTS-V parts... |

The V series is a Cadillac only branding, it's not going to be shared with Chevy.

Chevy is about the "Z" and "SS". ZR1, Z06, ZL1, Z28, Z66, and Z71 RPOs all appear on their respective models ('Vettes, CAMAROs, Silverados, for example).

The one person that we should listen to in all this... sure is trying to calm this down.
From another thread: my bet is on "HP Edition"

Sooooo the announcer's on Barrett-Jackson were talking about the Hendrick Motorsports Camaro they just auctioned off and when they were talking about the supercharger that was in it they said that the upcoming "Camaro Z28" would be just like that car basically. To quote them
" What you are looking at here folks is part and parcel the upcoming Camaro Z28 is going to be right there including the supercharger. When it's factory produced thats what the Z28 will be right there" What say you GM? You holding out on us
