One good thing about a manual. Most thieves don't know how to drive one and will just move on to the next 'easier' car to steal.

i was surprised when i bought my new 2 LT last fall that these cars really dont have the old school alarms like the older cars did. my 98 firebird has the motion alarm and i just assumed the new camaros did too. the dealer said no. and i have a vert yet. gee. i guess just keep my insurance paid up and the onstar subscription paid too.

I don't know what to think of it, on one hand, I'm grateful the alarm doesn't go off every time a cat decides to use my car as its mattress, on the other hand what the hell!!! a guy breaks my window, rips open the center console and not even a notification..

Damn. I would just stick a sign on the windows stating " there is nothing in the car to steal"
