You may be able to avoid it IF you can remember to NOT hold it at full lock. Find full lock and let it come back a quarter turn. I have been lucky with this so far....

I doubt you will find one. Your best bet for something like that is to find a pump/hydraulic place that can rebuild it and modify the pressure check valve in it....

Try calling lingenfelter and see if theirs will do it. Has a ball bearing shaft and can handle much higher hp; not sure about high rpm and load though.

They're broken by holding the steering wheel right on the steering stop...listen to the car at idle, and turn the wheel until you hit the stop...it makes a funny sound...if you let it move back like a half inch the noise goes away.

You can do donuts just fine...just don't hold the wheel on the lock. Just get a little more stylish with your donuts...throw the wheel (and car) around a little more .

The best ones are the ones where you can actually keep the car in a straight line, while never touching the brake pedal...I think my neighbors might still be a little upset with one I did coming up my own hill the night before thanksgiving...that you can still see very clearly when the road is dry...those poor poor Nitto's.
