Flowmaster American Thunder and Roto-Fab CAI Installed

Just had my Flowmaster AMT (Axle-Back) installed and the Roto-Fab CAI I installed last night Install of CAI took about an hour, took it out for a run and the butt dyno said I made a good choice. Just got back from the muffler shop to shoot pics and then I will take it out for another run. Just from the shop home I noticed a big difference in sound, nice deep tone and some good growl when I got on it a little bit. With just the Roto-Fab installed it did have the same deep tone the video that Roto-Fab put up. It does giddyup a lot better with the Roto-Fab, so if you are still wondering which CAI kit to purchase I would give Roto-Fab serious consideration. I will post a video from inside and a driveby when I get the chance.

Edit: Just got back from running her for about 30 minutes, did not notice any drone at 2000 rpm as some have mentioned just a sweet deep note. I have some nice long straight country roads around here to play with and got to hear what it really sounded like. At WOT it is not overpowering and obnoxious but you definitely know its around! With a little seasoning this exhaust should sound even better.

Pics:
1st one is before from when I first picked it up, rest are now:

Sounds like a great combination...and thanks for the kind words about the intake! I've stated it before, but feedback from people that actually have our product is by far our most valuable marketing tool. BTW, your pictures turned out very good, hope you don't mind if I grab one!

I will post some vids as soon as I find my camera. I don't use it very often and forgot what box I put it in.

I don't think you'll be disappointed, it sounds like a whole different car now.

I put the CAI on the night before and took her out for a few runs down some nice quiet straight country roads. It was pretty responsive with just the CAI on, all that fresh air woke it up! But when I took her out after the exhaust was put on it seemed more powerful on take off and got up to speed much quicker. Might just be the "butt dyno" effect but I also had my brother in law with me both times and he said the same thing. I also like the sound this combination makes, no rasp or fartcan sound, just a mean sound. I wish I had access to a dyno but I don't know of one in my general vicinity.

How much did you pay for your AT exhaust?
