GM Really Crapped The Bed With The Camaro!

GM introduced this car in magazines in December '05 in the Feb. '06 issues. Now almost three years later the world is still without a Camaro! Mustang has had plenty of different versions hit the street, with a '08 Bullitt model to wrap up this generation of Mustang, and the next Mustang on the horizon, plus Dodge's Challenger almost at production already taking deposits for Winter/Early Spring '08 delivery. And yet we still have no Camaro. The interest in the Camaro is dropping quick and people are already sick of waiting and I can't blame them. We've seen this car for almost three years, and we'll have to wait another year for a slated Winter '08 / Spring '09 launch to have this car. By then the Camaro might not be what the world wants with the new Mustang coming out with a new design, and a bunch of other carsin its class will be different, such as the new Z, etc... This car should've been out by now or at least this Spring, I don't feel it should've been this long to get out, I know they are taking their time to make them so they are close to the concept, but lets face it how long could this possibly take? GM has buttered us up for this car too long and doesn't even have a production ready design out for us to see? I think for the approx. extra $15k over the (est. V8 Camaro cost) I will opt for a brand new Vette coupe. I know they are different cars and different price ranges, but after 3 years of waiting, God knows I've had plenty of time to save that extra cash to get a Vette coupe. And the Vette is a much better car for the money! It's supercar fast for a small fraction of the price. So yeah GM will still get my money, but I'm sick of the Camaro wait!
