Share a room at Camarofest?

If anyone is going to camarofest and would like to split costs of a/their room, pm either me or Flaminbird. We are planning to go but it is alot of money. Originally we were the official photographers, but now we will just go there and take our pics and meet with some folks that would like to have portraits of their cars at the event. Anyway, we will pay for half the room. Just let us know.

we are going but will be staing in motorhome you could always pitch a tent and hang with us also why are you guys no taking the pics now

Are you guys planning on charging for the portraits of the cars?

Do you plan on doing the portraits of cars at the event for free? If not you need to sign up as a Vendor/Sponsor to sell services or products at the Camaro5 Fest/Event. There are a few people from other areas who are looking to share rooms. I would look in the Camaro5 Fest hotel and lodging thread.

Hey Tim. CM5217 is looking for a roommate. Check the C5fest rally points in midatlantic. He is looking to split cost as well.

We are going to do the same thing we do at every event. We are going to have fun, meet other camaro fanatics, take pictures for our enjoyment and post them for people to see and enjoy. It is the same thing we would have done if we were still "the OFFICIAL photographers" except without making money at it. and we will be documenting our experiences like wwe do on vacations. I am sure there will be many people on this board that will be doing the same thing that don't need to sign up as vendors. We have a big enough following that, if people want us to do portraits of thier cars, we don't need to advertise, they will come to us while we are there.

We have no desire to sign up as a Vendor/Sponsor for this event because of the way that whole thing went down when we were discussing this with you guys before. It was a bit too unorganized for us, and decisions were made to rashly. Thank you though, if we change our minds and do decide to promote our picture services, one of us will contact you.

However this post has nothing to do with promoting our services, we are just looking for a rrom to share.

Your post came off as more than looking for lodging because you mentioned other topics. We have a official photographer now for the event who is a paying sponsor.(and a secondary photographer) They are attending in a business capacity. You will not be allowed to take business from them by offering free photos. Any further post by you all on the topic of photography at the Fest will be deleted. You are more than welcome to attend as an enthusiast.
