Nice to see a 1SS out there. were very few and far between. Nice shifter. I'm going to be changing shifters, but not sure what one to go with yet. Have a pro 5.0 in my 97 SS.

Did you do the install yourself? If so, how easy was it?

I guess everyone has different preferences. I did not want the leather after several GM leather disappointments and I decided after having that space to put things like a GPS that I now do not want to add the guages. By the way, shifter looks great. How does it shift compared to any other style if you have any idea?

How 'bout we talk about the shifter! How's it feel, impressions, video of you rowing through the gears?

shifter feels great, real smooth! it locks into gear and looks and feels great. install was pretty easy, and i am by no means a mech of any kind! I did install everything else on the car myself except the intake manifold.
