Has anyone actually heard the BA audio system
Title says it all. I know GM has pushed BOSE as their "high end" system for decades. Just mentioning BOSE will usually start a verbal fist fight. So armed with that knowledge I'm asking the question.
Has anyone actually had a chance to sit inside a new Camaro, slipped in a CD and cranked this puppy?? Or are we buying into more "hype" again??? |

I haven't seen it installed in any of the cars I've seen so far.

I have not heard the new system...I don't think any of us have.
But, BA is teaming up w/ that other corporation to make the sound impeccable. Look in the other BA thread which was already created and read the article on the future plans for the Camaro. Best advice I can give since no one here (other than employees, possibly) have heard the BA system. |

I want the BA audio system but it's just one of those little nagging details that has kept me from placing my order so far. I'm just going to have to sit in the cars when they arrive in the showroom and figure it out in person. Reading other people's written thoughts about these things just doesn't help me sometimes.
Is the BA system worth adding to a 1LT/1SS or is the stock stereo good enough? Who knows without hearing both in the confined spaces of the new Camaro. |

Even if anyone has a BA system it would probably sound different in a Camaro as the interior design is slightly different with every car and the sound set up would produce slightly different music aspects. Just looking at the system it looks really good, separate woofers, tweeters and even a sub all tied into a native system that is controlled in the steering wheel and tapped into the bluetooth. Would seem that if you are looking for big booms you may need to add bigger subs but for the most part it seems like a balanced system. After markets may sound as good or better but may not be able to tap into the steering controls or the bluetooth.
